Data Deletion Instructions

Remote Control Gates Company allows customers to sign in securely using their preferred social platform: Facebook, Google or WhatsApp. These logins are handled through official APIs provided by each platform and are used only for authentication — enabling you to log in quickly without needing to create or remember another password.

We do not store your social-media passwords or access your private data such as posts, photos, contacts, or messages. Only the basic account information required to authenticate you (typically your name, email address, and profile ID) is received and stored within your WordPress user profile on our secure server at remotecontrolgates.co.uk.

1. Remove App Access via Your Social Account

To disconnect Remote Control Gates from any of your social accounts, follow the relevant steps below.

Facebook

  1. Log into Facebook.
  2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations or open this link.
  3. Locate Remote Control Gates (the app name shown).
  4. Click Remove and confirm.

Google

  1. Sign in to your Google Account.
  2. Visit Google Account > Security > Third-party apps with account access.
  3. Select Remote Control Gates (or the app name displayed).
  4. Click Remove Access.

WhatsApp

WhatsApp Login on our site uses the official WhatsApp API (via phone-number verification / OTP). No message history or contacts are accessed or stored. To disconnect, simply log out of your account on our site. If you wish to remove your number and any associated data from our database, please use the contact details below.

2. Request Deletion from Our System

If you would like us to delete any data that was retrieved through Facebook, Google or WhatsApp login, please contact us directly. We will permanently remove your account and any related login data within 7 working days.

Removing app access immediately revokes all permissions previously granted.
